The Whitaker Building was the first LEED project for Melaver, Inc. and for Savannah, Georgia. LEED Certification was pursued in conjunction with a desire to preserve the historical value of the building. Working with the historic preservation board in Savannah we were able to preserve and restore in a sustainable manner.

This project was began the transformation for Melaver, Inc. and was the first of many properties to be renovated or built sustainably.
