I very much believe we have a duty to work to protect this planet and the people who call her home. I also believe that everyone deserves to live and work in well designed, thoughtful spaces. I have been fortunate in that I have been able to take my love of design, of creative problem solving, and my passion for protecting this magnificent planet into a career as an architect specializing in sustainable design.
In one of my design studios early on in my education I asked if I had to follow all the rules. They responded saying ‘you can break the rules as long as you have a compelling reason and are willing to defend your actions’ and I have followed that guidance my entire career. I’m not afraid to color outside the lines or go against the current to do what is right.
I am an architect, an environmentalist, a paddler, a runner, photographer and aspire to cause good trouble. I currently live outside of Austin Texas but I’ve been working remotely for almost 15 years so even if you aren’t in Texas, don’t hesitate to reach out.
